Did you think about it?
Well, I did.
What is the purpose of a crossroad?
We’ll answer that shortly…
Meditate on these:
- This process wasn’t designed to separate me from my past, but to engage me in a new horizon.
- It was created with the intention for me to learn.
- I should never doubt the sovereignty of our God during this process.
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. – Isaiah 59:1
When at the crossroad we are faced with so many questions about the existence of God. We question every decision we try to make without consulting God about the intentions he has for our lives.
We fail to understand that God still speaks at the crossroad. When at the crossroad our tendency is to make decisions based on our emotions.
Sometimes he just wants for us to slow down, listen, build our faith and develop a constant relationship with us.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. – Philippians 1:6
Therefore be vigilant and resist fear, most times the unknown leads us into the will of God. Let us learn to appreciate the lessons we will learn at the crossroad.
“I think you will agree that life’s plans are not always tied up in neat little packages. Occasionally we find ourselves at unexpected crossroads with more than one opportunity from which to choose.” – Linda Lee Chaikin
